Enabling Recipient Preview

Recipient preview allows you to see how dynamic content or personalization tags will appear for a specific recipient. You can make multiple recipients available for preview in order to see various versions of dynamic content without having to send multiple test messages. After enabling a recipient, you can preview the content of your mailings as a recipient in the send tab.

Note: a user’s account settings determine the user’s level of system access. Therefore, several of the options and/ or tabs may not be available to all users. Please contact your site's administrator for additional information.

To enable a recipient:

  1. Open the recipients tab and perform a recipient search.
  2. Select the recipient you wish to preview mailings as from your search results.
  3. On the general tab of the edit recipient page, check the box for allow this recipient’s information to be used for previewing mailing content.
  4. Press the apply changes button to save your changes and enable the recipient for previews.
Tip: if you are using your own email to preview or test, you can add specific data points for personalization while you are on th edit recipients page.
