Enabling Recipient Preview
Recipient preview allows you to see how dynamic content or personalization tags will appear for a specific recipient. You can make multiple recipients available for preview in order to see various versions of dynamic content without having to send multiple test messages. After enabling a recipient, you can preview the content of your mailings as a recipient in the send tab.
Note: a user’s account settings determine the user’s level of system access. Therefore, several of the options and/ or tabs may not be available to all users. Please contact your site's administrator for additional information.
To enable a recipient:
- Open the recipients tab and perform a recipient search.
- Select the recipient you wish to preview mailings as from your search results.
- On the general tab of the edit recipient page, check the box for allow this recipient’s information to be used for previewing mailing content.
- Press the apply changes button to save your changes and enable the recipient for previews.
Tip: if you are using your own email to preview or test, you can add specific data points for personalization while you are on th edit recipients page.
